Prepares students for employment in studio recording, television, and film sound production. Builds on their recording industry technical education in recording arts and recording technology. Contributes to the students' financial independence and career success, and allows them to take key roles within the digital audio recording and sound mixing fields.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be able to communicate abstract concepts to clients in order to meet their subjective creative needs.
  • Students will explore a repository of audio information and use their findings to make informed decisions.
  • Student will clearly present and demonstrate the creative process and concepts behind various mixing techniques.
